Day 15

Emma turned two weeks old yesterday! As of today she weighed in at 4lbs 10oz and continues to grow like crazy. We have noticed that her new preemie outfits are fitting pretty tight and I am thinking she might be growing out of them in the near future which is amazing. Her body temps remain perfect, and she is doing all the things we need her to do. The bottle situation continues to be an issue however. She will eat 10-12ccs of milk and then gets so tired all she wants to do is sleep. The nurse told us tonight that she seems to enjoy waking up around 2am and then likes to talk and look around. OUCH! We may be in for some serious sleepless nights when she gets home.

She is still on par with coming home most likely around New Years. As much as we would love to have her home by Christmas, we want her to be totally ready before she does. She'll get there though! And she has definitely won the nurses over. They love to hover over her and tell her how cute she is. Emma is super mellow and pretty low maintenance at this point, so she is pretty easy to fall in love with. I know, I know, we are biased!
